Chinese Culture Center is committed to protecting the privacy of its members. Because member’s privacy is important to us, we have adopted and implemented this Privacy Policy as part of our commitment to protect personally identifiable information about our members from misuse.

Member information is stored on a secure, firewalled server. Access to database information is restricted to Chinese Culture Center personnel with appropriate password rights.

We do not disclose information about our members to any outside organizations, companies, or individuals.

Information we collect from our members

When you register as a member of Chinese Culture Center, you must complete a form about yourself. Our registration process asks you to provide us with a variety of personal information, including without limitation your name, postal address, email address, phone number, your spouse and your children’s name. We store this information in a protected, firewalled database.

How member’s information is used

We may use the information that we collect from our members as follows: to inform the members about the activities of the Chinese Culture Center; to send newsletters and member directory to the members.
If you do not wish to receive the above information from the Chinese Culture Center, please inform us either by mail or email.

Information about the visitors of our website

We use server log files to track certain usage information such as the number and frequency of visitors to our website. These log files do not collect personally identifiable information from the visitors. This usage information helps us determine how our visitors use the site, and allows us to make ongoing improvements to ensure that it is functional, appealing and useful.
